Mark Jewell received the award from Party President, Baroness Ros Scott

Preston LibDems were awarded a National campaigner award at the LibDem Conference in Bournemouth in late September. Mark Jewell received the award, on behalf of the Preston Liberal Democrats, from party president, Baroness Ros Scott.

Upon receiving the award Mark said, "This is an enormous honour given the very high standard of campaigning by Liberal Democrats across the Country. It reflects the fact that in Preston our party is growing and that we have a great team who can take on Labour in their heartland and win".

The award was made to Cllr Mark Jewell and John Potter for our winning campaign in Preston North West (where Mark won) and the close result for John Potter in Preston Central South.
